Speaking in an interview on Glitch Africa, Lasmid stated that the Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin played a vital role in making the song go viral after he approached him to pass his comment.

Lasmid revealed that after Lilwin listened to the jam, he gave positive feedback and also suggested that they shoot a short skit and post it on social media just to see the reaction they will receive from the fans.

Fortunately for him, the video was meted with positive reactions from Ghanaians and that influenced his decision to finally drop the song on all digital streaming platforms.

He further stated that he wants the song to have an impact on the future generation even when he is no more and never wants the song to expire.

In other news, well-known Ghanaian entertainment pundit cum journalist, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has reacted to the assertions registered by the TikToker, Martina Dwamena, well known as Asantewaa over the impact of Ghanaian TikTokers in song promotions.

A comment made by Asantewaa sparked mixed reactions in the entertainment industry and social media. She claimed that musicians can never have their songs trending on social media without the assistance of Ghanaian TikTokers.

She stated that irrespective of how a musician has been relevant and mastered his or her craft, she cannot exempt TikTokers from their promotional plans as they wield the power to make the song receive the required attention.

In reaction to that, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo speaking in an interview on the United Showbiz aired on United Television insinuated that Ghanaian need not undervalue the impact of the TikTokers in the promotion of songs on social media and beyond the shores of the country.

He babbled that every generation has a channel by which musicians get their songs promoted and projected to the world. Arnold sighted that DJs, Radio Presenters, Music Producers, and other stakeholders in the music industry have once played vital roles in the promotion of songs.
