Multiple award-winning dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., widely known as Shatta Wale has once again channeled his frustration towards the Ghana music industry over their irrelevant and insensitive submissions about his music brand.
Ever since he emerged into the music scene, Shatta Wale for many reasons has been unhappy with how affairs are being handled by some industry players, especially when it comes to giving artistes what they need to thrive with their crafts.
He has always disassociated himself from anything that has to do with the Ghana music industry, saying the industry did nothing to project his craft or invested anything into making him achieve the prominence he sought, hence they’ve got not audacity to berate him over his lifestyle and his approach to situations affecting the abilities of musicians to deliver.
In his most recent tweet, Shatta Wale furiously described the Ghanaian music industry as a disgrace to the world.
According to him, Ghanaians are fond of hailing new musicians over old musicians, claiming the new crop of artistes are far better than their predecessors in the music industry.
He averred that he was not mafe who he is by the Ghanaian music industry but he was made famous and prominent by the help of the internet.
He wrote: Everyday Ghanaians have new artiste who is bigger than Jay z ,foolish country with foolish entertainment ppl ..Mek you ppl sit der and don’t follow the time ..Internet made me and am proud to say this ..Ghana music itself is a disgrace to the world ..Foolish talks
